The Innovation Award is the Amsterdam competition for research based innovative ideas that contribute to a better world. It is open to ideas to all research disciplines and domains, no matter at what stage your idea is in. The innovation award will give you a kick-start in turning your idea into reality. AmSIA is open to ideas from all research disciplines: from aviation, engineering and maths, to the red and green life sciences, to the arts, humanities and social sciences. Three prizes of each € 10.000 will be awarded to the best idea within the categories of: Society, Health, and Environment & Climate. The categories are based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
For whom
This competition is open to (teams of) researchers, staff and students in all disciplines from all participating Amsterdam universities, universities of applied sciences, academic medical centres and public research centres.

The festive finale is Tuesday 21 November 2023 in NEMO Science Museum.
